Today I bring you a new design for put adjustable feet to our printers.

Why I need adjustable feet?

I don´t know if this is you case, but my printer is not as stable as I want and I need to adjust the feet with some external things. This is the reason because I have designed this part.

What do I need?

This is a low cost improvement, you will need:

  • STL file, that is located on Thingiverse
  • Silent block kit for air condioniting model SG-40, it cost about 2,5 € at Leroy Merlin
  • 4 M8 nuts, in addition to the 4 that comes with the kit
  • 16 M4 SHCS screws 10 mm lenght.
  • 16 M4 Tnuts 20 profile.

Duet WiFi on Anet E-10

Anet E-10 Improvements

Today I am going to explain step by step how to install duet WiFi board on your Anet E-10.

The board

Duet WiFi is a high end board, is made on UK and the main features are:

  • 32 bits Processor
  • TMC 2660 drivers, with 256 microsteps for make the movements smoother
  • Integrated WiFi
  • Web User Interface

What are the improvements?

  • Better management of motor drivers, the current is managed via SW
  • Smoother movements on the axis.
  • Absolutely silent
  • Allows 18 A for heated bed, so the use of MOSFET or relay is not critical.

Currently we are out of home the most part of the time, and I became to investigate how to control the printer remotely, and the best option for me is Octoprint.

What do I need?

The first thing is to have an internet connection at home 🙂

Bondtech BMG Montado Anet E-10 Improvements

Today I am going to show you a new improvement for Anet E-10, Bondtech BMG extruder.

I bought the extruder on a massive purchase orgnised by SpainLabs with the collaboration of 3dfilamento.es.

The purchase

This was the first time that I  participated on a masive purchase, and I love this way of buying.

The process was very easy, you must sign on on the purchase forum and after that a discount coupon were sent to the people that signed on.

Juan from 3filamento.es is a very kind person and it was a pleasure treating with him.

The package arrived to Madrid two days before than the expected delivery date, but due to the transport company the delivery was not made on the day that is supposed to be. Continue reading

My first design – Support for mounting E3D v6 on Anet E-10

First of all I am crazy about E3D v6 hotend. For this reason, after watching the stock hotend mounted on the Anet E-10, I decided to design my first piece for 3D Printing.

What software have you used?

To design this object I used Tinkercad, that is a tool developed by Autodesk , is very easy to use and is cloud base, so you do not need to install any software on you computer.

The main idea of this software is to merge simple objects to create more complex things.
